Introduction: The major causes of “The Great War” or WWI (1914-1918) consist of four long-term causes and one short-term cause. I use the acronym M.A.N.I.A to help my students remember the 5 major causes of WWI; they are Militarism, Alliances, Nationalism, Imperialism, and Assassination?
I think that the most dangerous threat to peace in our world is militarism, there are a lot of ongoing examples in the world as of now before it was the race between Russia and America but now it’s a nuclear arms race between America and North Korea. This could be very dangerous, however there is no anger or aggressive leaders on either side yet but these nuclear weapons could be a great threat to peace in the world
