In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

According to the Sixth Amendment, a jury must

D) come from the area where the crime was committed

The United States as a result of the Sixth Amendment, grants the right to a trial by jury for accused people. These juries would be full of peers of the accused and would have to come from the area where the crime was committed.

This means that the jury must comprise of people who come from the same State and District that the crime was committed in most probably because these are the ones who understand the crime's circumstances and felt the effects the most.
