Taylor initially thinks her mom doesn’t trust her to go online: she uses computer monitoring software and doesn’t allow her to have Internet on her phone. Do you think that is too strict? Not strict enough?

There’s no wrong answer here. However I personally think her mother may be a little strict. All parents should trust their children unless the child has done something wrong in the past. If Taylor’s mother has no reason to not trust her then yes she is strict.
(this is just my opinion i am not a parent yet)
