There are many French-speaking countries in the world. Together they are known as Francophonie - le monde francophone. Anyone living in a French-speaking country or speaking French as a first language can be considered as part of the Francophonie.
Countries with French as the official language-

Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Chad, the Ivory Coast, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, France, Haiti, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Mali, Monaco, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Switzerland, Togo and Vanuatu.
