 1 gallon = 4 qts....so 2 gallons = 8 qts
so she needed 8 qts.....she had 2....so she still needs 6 qts.

1 qt = 2 pints...so 6 qts = (6 x 2) = 12 pints...and each bottle is 1 pints...so she needs 12 bottles
she needs to buy 12 bottles
