A female is most likely to become pregnant about a week after her period ends. The period in the menstrual cycle in which a women can get pregnant is called the "fertile window".The ‘fertile window’ is the day an egg is released from the ovary (ovulation) and the five days beforehand. The most fertile days are the three days leading up to and including ovulation.
