so, i would create an extremely unexpected antagonist, someone that you would never expect to be bad. to do this i’d make the antagonist best friend with the main character. this way, the antagonist has an easy target, can obtain information easily, and can change the main characters mind. their motive would be something possibly that they are doing unfinished business, something that maybe their dead parents never achieved. or a really strong motive, like the main character was the reason for the antagonists parent’s deaths, however due to an incident the main character was completely oblivious, and can’t remember anything. their name would be a fake name, something no one would suspect like for a girl jessica mathews and for a boy like jamie lawson something like that as a cover name, but the antagonists parents could’ve been criminals, therefore the antagonists real name could give away that they are bad, like if their real name was like fred bundy.. i think that would be quite scary, (as in ted bundy)
