Pretend you are in the same cell as MLK during his time in jail. Write a short script (15–20 lines) that creates an imagined scene between the two of you. What questions would you ask him? What would be his responses? Write as if you are narrating a conversation between yourself and King. Your response should reference civil disobedience and main points from his letter.

As I stared at him whilst he was being brought into the jell cell,I noticed the bags under his eyes.

"Hey,You look tired" I said

"Yes,I am tired.I'm tired of the way black people are treated differently.I am tired of how every time we get near them,they automatically marks us as someone different."

I sighed.

The word really is like that.
