Answer: I picked a simple butterfly to animate using a flipbook. A flipbook allows you to animate a drawing. I started by cutting out about thirty small rectangles of paper. I then drew the first image of the buttery with its wings up as shown in the image on the first paper. I numbered this 1. I then traced the image of the butterfly on another piece of paper and moved the wings a bit down, as in image two. I numbered the paper 2 and set it aside. I repeated this on the remaining pieces of paper, moving the wings a little more with each piece. I then stacked the pieces of paper together to form a book from numbers 1 to 30. I stapled the left edge of the papers and flicked through the right side to reveal the animation I had created.
