Real numbers may be explained as all set of numbers which may be used for counting, fractions or decimals. Real numbers may be any set of natural, whole, integer, rational or irrational numbers.
• NATURAL NUMBERS which are all set of positive whole numbers from 1. Examples : (1, 3, 5, 8, 100)
• WHOLE NUMBER are set of all natural numbers .while numbers also include the value value (0, 1, 200, 500) are whole numbers
• INTEGERS : include all positive and negative natural or whole number values. They include (-1, - 10, 10, 5)
• RATIONAL numbers are real numbers which can be expressed in the form m/n where both m and n are integer values and the denominator, n ≠ 0 Examples : (1/2, 0.9, 10/1, √4, 3.5)
• IRRATIONAL numbers are real numbers which are not integer values and cannot be expressed in the form m/n Non-terminating and non-repeating decimal numbers are IRRATIONAL numbers. (√3, 1.43136..., 1.4141..., π)
