There are two general varieties of sealer such as:
- Solvent-based
- Water-based
- Solvent-based sealer: Polymers don't appear as distinct pieces using such a solvent-based sealer. This same polymer, as well as solvent alternatively, produces a permanent, transparent solution containing polymeric materials.
- Water-based sealer: The screens consist of particles suspended together in a water mixture. With the sealant stretching, the water begins to fade as well as the polymeric materials continue to shift form and merge.
