Write a narrative nonfiction about the influence someone from a different generation has had on your or someone you know. In your narrative, draw on the texts you have read in this section, your narrative should answer this question: in what situations can one generation learn from another? A nonfiction narrative is a story of something that actually happened. In a personal narrative, the writer uses the 1st person point of view (pronouns I and me) to tell the true story of something that he or she has experienced.  An engaging nonfiction narrative contains the following elements: well-developed major and minor characters as well as a narrator, who is you, the writer a problem or conflict clear sequence of events that unfolds logically narrative techniques such as dialogue, description and pacing a variety of transitional words, phrases and clauses to convey sequence shifts precise words, well-chosen quotations, vivid details and powerful sensory language a conclusion that follows from and reflects on the experiences in the narrative.​
