Apollo, Athena and Zeus are all Greek gods.

Apollo: He is the Greek god of archery, prophecy, music, etc. Like all gods, he was powerful and aided humans on occasion.

Athena: This is the Greek goddess of war and purity as it was recorded that she remained a virgin.

Zeus: He is the Greek god of the skies and the ruler of all gods. He had the supreme authority into how much the other gods interfered in huma affairs.

These gods interfered in the lives of the people and tried to control their daily lives by:

  • Helping out the mortals they favored
  • Preventing the mortals they disliked from being happy
  • By demanding sacrifices, etc
