Bryon purchased a box of candy at the store. On his way home he ate 1/4 of the candy from the box. At dinner with friends later that night he served 1/2 of what was left. If there are 6 chocolates left in the box, how many did the box contain to start with?
6 are left , 1/2 was eaten and a 1/4 was eaten. 6 left is equal to a 1/4. if a quater is 6 and their are 4 1/4 in a whole at 6 represent each quarter then 6*4=24
