Tom and jerry both earn the same monthly salary. Each month tom saves 35% of his salary. Jerry spends 3/5 of his salary and saves the rest of his salary.
Work out who saves the most money each month.

First off, Tom saves 35%, so he spend 65% because 100-35=65.
Now Jerry spends 3/5, to make that a percentage out of 100. You have to make the denominator 100, so 5*20=100 and what we do to the bottom we do to the top; so 3*20=60. So 60/100, so in a percentage form, it will be 60%.
To find out how much he saves, we do 100-60= 40 so Jerry saves 40% while Tom saves 35%.

In conclusion, Jerry saves the most money.
