Some historical events in the Philippines written by historians are not accurate, this is due to time and different interpretations, such as the country's independence date, which in 1946 was celebrated on the 4th of July, but from the year 1964 was changed to June 12th.

Spanish settlers provided some positive contributions to the country, such as the cultural heritage present in the incorporation of Spanish words, religion, architecture and behavioral characteristics, such as the hospitality and joy of the Filipino people.
