[tex] \frac{16}{x + 4} = \frac{1}{2} \\ [/tex]

inverse both sides

[tex] \frac{x + 4}{16} = \frac{2}{1} \\ [/tex]

Multiply both sides by 16

[tex]16 \times \frac{x + 4}{16} = 16 \times 2 \\ [/tex]

[tex]x + 4 = 32[/tex]

Subtract both sides 4

[tex]x + 4 - 4 = 32 - 4[/tex]

[tex]x = 28[/tex]
