Based on the missions and vision of the interest groups, there are several kinds of foreign policy issues the interest groups might get involved in. One of which include: "environmental activists seeking to promote climate agreements."

Other foreign issues that interest groups might be involved in include the following:

  • Jewish Americans lobbying against a foreign deal that they believe hurts Israel;

  • When attempting to get the United States to oppose human rights abuses by foreign governments.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the interest groups might try to be involved in foreign policies for many reasons.
