Draw a conversion graph of the distance walked (L) against S to convert up to 10000 steps into metres.
Each step is 0.7 m, so 10,000 steps will be 0.7(10,000 m) = 7,000 m. Of course 0 steps is 0 meters, so the graph is a straight line with a slope of 0.7.
