In general, an organism will be more likely to develop phobias of dangers faced during natural circumstances.

  • Phobia is an unjustified or pathological fear of situations or circumstances that are not dangerous and that most people do not find bothersome.
  • Fear is a natural reaction or an adaptive experience to situations or objects that imply a real danger.

When this fear occurs before natural circumstances that do not pose a real danger, then we find this fear is no longer adaptive is what we call a phobia.

Therefore, we can conclude that an organism will be more likely to develop phobias of dangers faced during natural circumstances.
