The “Big Apple” is the nickname for the State New York’s city NYC (New York City) or just the State itself. It became more popular after John “J” Fitz Gerald said it on his sport broadcast, “NY (New York) Morning Telegraph” during the 1970s. He had promotional crusade for the New York authority travelers (more at the tourist authorities)
