The French revolution was started in 1789 when the need for a better regime was felt by the people of France.
The main reason for french revolution was that the regime which was ruling was unable to manage various social, economical and political situations.

- There was a very high rate of poverty.
- The rate of taxes imposed on the lower class were very high.
- There was absolute rule of monarchs and they solely used to control everything.
- The lower class was suffering and there was no one to represent their problems.
