I told her I'd like a coffee and the macaroni special. She placed a mug of coffee in front of me and put a tall sugar and a small pitcher of cream beside the coffee. The sugar was barely out of my hand when she came by and put it back in its original place on the inside edge of the counter. Since I didn't use the creamer, she took that away. I had to lean back as she lay a paper napkin and silverware down. Then I had to get out of the way once more as she wiped the space one more time (I must have spilled a few grains of sugar) and set my plate of macaroni down. She asked if I needed anything else, left my check, and wiped the counter in front of a man just sitting down beside me.
