The perimeter is the sum of the 4 sides:

150 = x + x + x+7 + x+7

Simplify:

150 = 4x +14

Subtract 14 from both sides:

136 = 4x

Divide both sides by 4:

x = 34

If X is 34 the perimeter would equal 150, so for the perimeter to be greater than 150, the value of x has to be greater than 34.
