Hope it helps! "Beware the Ides of March," warned the soothsayer to Julius Caesar in the tragic play by William Shakespeare. The Ides of March refers to the middle of the Roman month of Martius, or the 15th day of March
The Soothsayer is an archetype in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar because there are so many similar characters to him in other works of art.
Since an archetype is an example of something or somebody, in The Tragedy of Julio Caesar, the soothsayer is the archetype of somebody who warns the protagonist about something really bad that will to happen to them in the future. Usually, the protagonist doesn't believe the prediction by the future teller.
