Malaria, a preventable disease, kills hundreds of thousands of Africans each year. Spread by mosquitoes, malaria's parasites attack the body in a deadly way. If I were a government leader, the step I would take to help end this problem is to improve the health and nutrition system that are very related to each other. Lack of proper nutrition is one of the reason of disease in Africa. Extreme poverty is one of the biggest issues that government leaders face in Africa. Sanitary conditions are the other major issue. Many people in Africa life in terrible conditions and that generates health problems than can be prevented. Malaria is a preventable disease like many others, by many others. But is of the utmost importance to radically improve the sanitary and health conditions in Africa. To invest in better hospitals and doctors, as well as preventing campaigns informing the people through the national media.  

The steps to solve this problem as a government leader is to spray out the medicine in the country and to manage the places in hospitals in such a manner that the patients are protected from mosquitoes.

What is malaria?

Malaria is a dangerous and sometimes deadly disease caused by a parasite that commonly infects a certain type of two-winged insect, which feeds on humans.

People who suffer from malaria are typically very poorly with high fevers, shaking coldnesses, and flu-like illnesses. This normally spread through mosquitoes which origins from dirty places. According to WHO’s malaria report, there were approximately 241 million malaria cases and 6,27,000 malaria deaths globally in 2020.

Steps to prevent malaria as a government leader:

  • Improve health and immunity system as the immune system of the humans gets strong, they get less affected through malaria.

  • I will reduce poverty as poor peoples have no better condition of residency, they live near dirty places. So reducing poverty is also protected from malaria.

  • Sprays out the cities to kill the mosquitoes.

  • Built more hospitals as possible to give proper treatments to patients, etc.

However, for protecting the citizens of America, it will take the above actions to eliminate the problem.
