Kelly is playing a computer game to help her learn about science. Her scores for the first six games were 10,12,10,8,14 and 15. How many points does she need to earn on the next games so that her average score for all games is 12 points

First, we need to find the minimum score she needs to have a 12 point average.
She has already played 6 games, and will play 1 more.
12 x 7 = 84
We need to add her point totals from the previous 6 games together, then subtract that total from the minimum score.
10+12+10+8+14+15 = 69
84-69 = 15
Kelly needs to earn 15 points on the 7th game to get an average score of 12 points per game.
