I think the authors purpose for the book is because she wants women to be empowered and not hauled away just because they disobey the rules/laws
The first sentence of the text is what makes me draw this conclusion .
when the author is persuading the reader in grabs the readers attention and adds more effect on the authors point .

I can draw many conclusions about this comic strip. Here is one of them(the main one): the author is displaying a women that is being super careful when she steps outside because she doesnt want to get hauled away by the police. women should not be doubting whether to step out of the out for safety purposes.
The first 2 boxes in the comic strip explain this conclusion that i am purposing
it helps add more emphasis and effect because clearly the author is really trying to show a very powerful message
