Teiresias had a vision where he said that birds had gathered themselves around in fury and before he knew what was going on, there was a rage and they were tearing at themselves.
He accused the Creon of being responsible for the calamity that is going on. He pleads with the Creon to rethink and give up his pride in order to repair the damage.
To change the course, the old man wanted him to yield to advice and stop the fight that he had.
