#1: Do not keep going over sad thoughts

When people keep thinking about the sad thoughts that come through their brain, they tend to become more sad and depressed, thinking about happier thoughts are the better way to go, which is actually our next tip.

#2: Think of happier memories and thoughts

When people think more positive and happier memories, the sad ones are slowly forgotten, happy and positive thoughts and memories help a boost of a persons mood. So think happier things, like times at the park, and times with family!

#3: Spend time outdoors and play fun activities

The last tip is too spend time outdoors, research shows that being outdoors in nature, helps people cope with sadness better. Playing activities that you enjoy also help, like listening to your favorite music, spending time with friends and reading. Just remember not to listen to sad songs that might put you down.
