A mother was telling her child to stop jumping and screaming. The child did not conform so the mother threated to spank her then the child started to conform. I think the reason they conformed because they was scared and didn't want to get hurt for not doing so. Which a lot of people do for example when some holds a gun to your head and starts to tell you to do something. Most people would conform to the directions.
