subtract two hrs : 2:02 then subtract twenty minutes : 1:42 and then add 1; 1:43
You should tell your child to figure out how much time 2 hours and 19 minutes will be (2:19). What I'd do is take 2:19 and subtract that from 4:02. I'm pretty sure that this is correct. Hope this helps!
