There was dirt on daddy’s clothes. Putting that bacon on mommas stove, dog barking in the yard and the truck we all know. All we had was us, and had a little bitty house, and a lot of love, and we had it all but we didn’t have much. Why did the author include the dirt being on the dads clothes, and the dog outside in the yard barking?
