After 38 years of state protection, the Florida black bear is entering a list of more than 60 animals Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) voted unanimously.
The Florida black bear is recorded as a Recovered species; they are no longer regarded a protection concern. Both the human and black bear people in Florida have lived rising since the 1980s. They are, however, protected by the Bear Conservation Rule.
