Adele and her sister went shopping for running shoes.
Adele wanted running shoes that were durable and fit
well. Adele's sister, on the other hand, only wanted the
fancy, wildly colored shoes that were endorsed by her
favorite athlete. She was so dazzled by their
appearance, she didn't even try them on. Sure enough,
after a week of running, Adele's sister learned that all
that glitters is not gold. She got blisters right away.
Then, the shoes began to fall apart after one run in the
rain, and the colors faded quickly.
