Explanation: Being given a monologue in first person lets us know what the character is thinking towards certain situations and we get a more detailed concept of how they are feeling. E.g “He’s dead. I don’t know what to do...I just can’t accept it, I can’t process it. I miss him so much.” This clearly tells us that this persona is clearly going through a stage of grief and suffering and how they must really miss the character that has died. It is better than “Their friend is dead. They must feel quite sad. They probably miss him so so much.” as this is not in much depth compare to the other.
