Respuesta :
The cosmos formed from a hot, dense sea of matter and energy some 15 billion years ago. Galaxies, stars, planets, and life were created as the cosmos cooled and expanded. Two theories are most common are-
- According to the big bang theory, the universe began as a point about 13.82 billion years ago and is currently expanding as a result of a tremendous explosion.
- According to steady state cosmology, the cosmos is exactly as it is. When matter expands, new matter is produced.
What is Big Bang Theory?
- According to scientists, the universe started with every last bit of energy compressed into a single, minuscule point.
- The explosion from this incredibly dense point created stuff and propelled it outward to form the billions of galaxies that make up our huge cosmos.
- The Big Bang is the name given to this enormous explosion by astronomers.
What is Steady State Theory?
- According to the Steady State theory, which also holds that the universe has always existed and is constantly expanding and generating stuff, the universe has always existed and will continue to do so. The red shift data is in favor of this theory, but the CMBR is not.
- Cosmology's steady-state theory holds that the universe is constantly expanding while maintaining a constant average density, with matter continuously being created to form new stars and galaxies at the same rate that older ones fade away due to their expanding distance and accelerating recession velocity.
