Precautions taken while administering Stadol-

  2. Use with additional caution in the elderly, in people with hepatic or renal illness, or during labour.
  3. In individuals on other CNS active medications, those with CNS illnesses, or those with respiratory impairment, butorphanol may cause respiratory depression.
