Describe one way that acheulean stone tools were different than oldowan stone tools. remember to say something about both acheulean and oldowan tools.

Respuesta :

The difference between the Acheulean tools and the Oldowan tools is  that the Acheulean tools  are more complex than the Oldowan tools because  the core was made before flaking took place and tools were produced that had bifacial cutting edges.

In contrast, the Oldwan tools did not have bifacial edges. These Bifacial tools are flaked on both sides so that they are sharper than Oldowan tools.

What are the Acheulean tools

Acheulean tools are tools that existed in Africa, Europe and Asia.

They were found in Acheulean assemblages which are described as pointed, cordate, ovate, ficron, and bout-coupé hand-axes which refers to the shapes of the final tool, cleavers, retouched flakes, scrapers, and segmental chopping tools.

What are Oldowan Tools

These tools are usually simple and they were made with one or a few flakes chipped off with another stone.
