(My answers aren't going to reflect your personal opinion, so change whatever you find necessary)

1) I don't strongly 'believe' in one genre, as I think all literary genres have their own specialities that are unique to them—even if I may not enjoy reading certain ones.

2) In my opinion, I think that romance as a genre is quite overrated. It is easily one of the most popular, if not—then the most, genres when it comes to fiction. Due to this, I feel as if it is appreciated far too largely despite much of the plot lines in romantic literature being either very similar, or completely identical to one another. I find this rather dull, since I don't have any interest in constantly reading the same, occasionally badly written, storyline over and over again.

3) I do believe that all genres are equal. However, the cause for some stories being considered better than others simply draws down to personal taste and reader connection. Some individuals may enjoy reading non-fiction or specific (auto)biographies—as they are able to connect and relate to the author's experiences themselves. Whilst others look towards genres like fantasy or romance to use them as a form of escapism from daily routine.
