These people were a religious group that arose out of the English Protestant groups from the Church of England. They left the church of England because they believed it to have shared too much likeness with the Catholic church.
The issue was that they had a lot of practices and ceremonies that did not have any roots in the holy Bible which they intended to practice to its core.
