According to Bandura's theory, children might pick up aggressive behaviors even if they don't get rewarded for doing so.

Self Learning Theory

According to McLeod and Albert Bandura; behavior is acquired through the process of observational learning. Albert Bandura, who thought behaviorism alone could not fully explain all there is to know about learning, is credited with developing the social learning theory. He thought that behavior and environment were interrelated. A child's behavior changes after witnessing an aggressive adult led Bandura to develop his social learning hypothesis. Bandura thought that self-regulation could help us control our own behavior.

Self-regulation necessitates that a person engage in self-observation, self-evaluation, and self-response.
