Hypothesis and Theory
A hypothesis is a prediction of behavior drawn directly from a theory.
Hypothesis is an argument or an idea of something that is based on the fact known already or already existing fact but has not yet been proved. It can also be understand by saying that Hypothesis is a statement the gives an explanation of how and why something happens or works, based on those fact that are not yet proven specifically.
A theory, on the opposite hand is a principle that has been formed as an attempt to explain things that have already been substantiated by data. It is used in the names of a number of principles accepted in the scientific community, such as the Big Bang Theory. Because of the rigors of experimentation and control, it is understood to be more likely to be true than a hypothesis is.
