Respuesta :

If you placed an object under a compound light microscope and you moved it upwards, it would appear to be moving in downward direction when looking into the microscope.

Compound light microscope is a microscope that uses two sets of lenses providing two dimensional image of any thing. It has a high resolution.

The two types of lenses used are-

1. Objective lens- placed close to the objects that is to examined

2. Eyepiece- placed near the eyes also known as ocular lens.

As the image formed after passing through the two lens is real and inverted if you move the slide in one direction it will appear to be moving in opposite direction when viewed from microscope. Hence it appears moving in downward direction when moved upward.
