This was the case that involved the President Nixon in the United States over his involvement in what is referred to as the water gate scandal. This case was a landmark case against the president at the time where he was asked to deliver tape recordings to be used in the case to the court.
The court had ordered him to while telling him that the president cannot shield himself from providing the evidence that has to be used in a criminal case proceeding. The court voted against his right to use his position to withhold the tape
