How is power distributed between the national government and states?

Instead of placing authority in the hands of one person, like a king, or even a small group of people, the U.S. Constitution divides power. Power is first divided between the national, or federal government, and the state and local government under a system known as Federalism. When the power is divided among different institutions then the problems get solved very quickly because there were a lot of peoples to handle the situation or problems. It is a good step to placing the different authorities to different institutions.

So we can conclude that: By the distribution of the power between the National Government and State the problems get solved very quickly in less time.
