If you are studying a specific area of the body and the organs contained within it you are learning about the human anatomy.
What is the anatomical system?
Systems of anatomically connected structures are called anatomical systems or organ systems. Insofar as these systems affect, trigger, enable, mediate, or repress thoughts, feelings, behaviour, and other psychological processes, psychologists are interested in them.
There are numerous ways that organs within a system might be connected, but functional interactions are the most prevalent. The urinary system, for instance, consists of organs that collaborate to create, store, and transport urine.
Organ system functions frequently have a lot in common. For instance, the hypothalamus, an organ shared by the neurological and endocrine systems, controls both. This is why the neuroendocrine system—a combination of the two systems—is being researched. The musculoskeletal system, which deals with the interaction between the muscular and skeletal systems, is no different.
