On a warm dry day, rate of transpiration will increase which will result in faster transport of water and minerals to leaves of trees.
- Very hot, dry, windy day leads to the closure of stomata which will reduce the rate of transpiration and thus decreasing the rate of delivery of water and minerals to tree leaves
