Electromagnetic waves
An energy transfer technique is the use of electromagnetic waves. They are created when a fluctuating magnetic field causes a fluctuating electric field. These induced, perpendicularly oscillating electric and magnetic forces are what make up electromagnetic waves.
Electromagnetic waves can travel without a medium, in contrast to mechanical waves. Therefore, even in the absence of a medium, electromagnetic waves can pass through a vacuum. Radio waves, microwaves, infrared waves, visible light, ultraviolet light, X-rays, and gamma rays are all examples of electromagnetic waves.
Electromagnetic wave Wavelength
(1) Microwave = 1 m to 1 mm = to
(2) Ultraviolet = 10 nm to 400 nm
(3) Radio waves = 1 mm to 100 km = to
(4) Infrared = 700 nm to 1 mm
(5) X-ray = 0.01 nm to 10 nm
(6) Visible = 400 nm to 700 nm
