How you could have managed the stressful situation differently is to stay calm and see if the person was still just coming back also from class. Changed my movement or direction to see if the person will go the other way from me.
Since I am interacting with a patient who appears to be stressed. I can be able to help the patient relax by singing them a smoothing song or telling them a soul lifting stories.
